NO WAY!!

I can't believe it's been over a year since I posted!!!! AGH!!! That has got to change!    I love looking back on my posts and pictures, so why don't I post more!?  Your guess is as good as mine!  So a year huh...... I've got more updating to do than I realized.... where to start!

  Morgyn just turned 1 last thursday!  And boy are we in love with that girl..... i just love watching her every move!  She has been walking a couple weeks now and her little toddle is just too cute!  Brecklyn and Hayden did ballet last spring and they were so cute to watch!  We bought Kelby a leotard and tights too and sh

e enjoyed "doing ballet" too.  

Brecklyn is in Kindergarten..... loving it and doing great, which I had no doubt she would.  Her and Bree Crowther are best buds, and I'm so thankful she has a good friend!  She is learning to read more and more, and does perfect on her spelling tests.  Her teacher (Mrs Thies)   had nothing but good things to say about her!  Hayden and Kelby have become even better friends. They are always playing babies, playing barbies or playing in the dirt.  It seems that since school started Brecklyn has somewhat of a different agenda..... if those are even the right words to explain it. She is now always wanting to practice reading, writing, or counting.  Why aren't we always that eager to learn!?
This fall Brecklyn and Hayden did soccer, it

was Brecklyns 2nd year and Haydens first.  Brecklyn's coach was Jordan Kreps, and Hayden's was Grammy!  Junior was also on Hayden's team.  And since Grammy was their coach, Kelby got to do all of the practices with them.  She loved being part of the team!  Robert has been working a big installation job at the college (ASU), and thankfully is not doing that fulltime anymore!  Him and Ren are pretty big on fantasy football and fantasy basketball, and will be starting City League games in alamosa this Wednesday again.  I'm glad they are good friends...... they talk to each other way WAY more than I do to any of my siblings..... or siblingsinlaws either.

 And this was our Halloween this year!  We had the 100 acre woods crew plus the cutest Pink kitty cat!  Brecklyn doesn't really like doing silly things, and she wasn't at walmart with us while we were picking out her costume, and I had no idea what to get since they were CLEAR out of Elsa costumes, which is what she wanted to be.   I put together this kitty costume, and luckily she LOVED it! And take away the bowtie, ears and tail and its just normal clothes that she can wear to school!

 We got 4 chickens this summer.  Someone had told us they might help get rid of ants.... and we had a real ant problem!  And they aren't the nice kind of ants either.  Between the chickens and getting rid of 2 infested trees, i think we have made a LITTLE bit of headway in that direction.  Anyways, about the chickens.... these girls LOVED them!!  They each got one.  They named them, fed and took care of them, gave them rides in wagons.... you know the works!   However, it's all fun and games till the neighbors dogs come for a visit, and one by one they were picked off.  It was fun while it lasted, but i really wasn't looking forward to taking care of them through the winter.

I'm loving this life I have!  I was born to live it!  I've always wanted to be a wife, and mom.  And thank heavens I am getting to live my dream!  I don't have to have girls nights out, or time away.... I am perfectly content being home with my little family every day!  They are my everything and I thank my Heavenly Father often for putting them in my life!

The BEST of Friends!!

There's not too many things that make me happier than these girls (and their daddy of course)!  I love how they get along for the most part, and take care of each other. When Hayden gets hurt, Brecklyn does everything that little mama can think of to make Hayden feel better.   And when Kelby is sad they both try to find things that will make that ornery girl smile.  It snowed last week and they all were so excited.  I pulled out all the snow clothes and Brecklyn helped Kelby get all dressed up from head to toe, and Brecklyn and Hayden dressed themselves up and they went out on a grand adventure.  They have so much fun together, I love it!  We are loving being in our new house, and our new neighborhood.  The girls already have friends every which way.  And now we just can't wait for this next lil gal to join our fam!  We are already so in love with her, and are just dying to hold her!  Due date is 16 days from today..... so we will just wait and see i guess! 

SOCCER!!!

When I first asked Brecklyn if she wanted to play soccer this fall, she refused!  I kept bugging her about it because I KNEW she'd love everything about it! She eventually said "I'll do it if Grammy will be my coach."  So, I asked her if she'd be interested, and lucky Brecklyn, she got to have Grammy as her coach! She still refused to get out of the van at her first practice AND at her first game.  But with a little bribing we got her on the field those times and every time and she LOVED it!!  I think Grammy had fun too!  Those 3-4 yr olds were so much fun to watch, there was kids leaving the field all of a sudden to climb trees, kids dancing during the game.... quite the entertainment!  Brecklyn was pretty good to stay focused enough to run with the crowd and kick the ball now and then.  But I think she kind of felt like a celebrity out there with everyone watching, and couldn't keep her eyes off everyone on the sidelines for too long.  I'm glad she did it, and glad Grammy did it too.  What a fun memory for her!  She even got Granma and Granpa to come watch a game too! I thought I got a pic of them, but I can't seem to find it :(

Oh and I better list her teammates (what i can remember) before i forget.  There was Nalen, Madison, Lincoln Bagwell, Bryson Pena, Shandon Gilleland, and Xavier.
