Weekend up north.....

This past weekend we went to Provo/Salt Lake. Robert's brother Steve and his wife were blessing their daughter Avery, and it was also my brother's little girl's 2nd birthday. I didn't get any pics of the blessing luncheon or anything, but here's a few from the rest of the trip.
We bought Hailey a slip n slide for her birthday, the girls were gettin ready to play in the water so we decided to go ahead and give her the gift a day early. Brecklyn, Lucy and Jeremiah had more fun with it than she did though. The three little gals teasing Hesston through the fence.Brecklyn in her new swimsuit!! She wasn't with me when I bought it, and when I showed it to her the next day I asked her if it was SO cute?!??! She just shook her head and said no. Robert said this is only the beginning.....Jeremiah giving it a try..... They blew up balloons and stuffed into their little playroom for a surprise when Hailey woke up.This woulda been a really cute pic if it was taken 2 seconds sooner, before Brecklyn got sad.The birthday girl! A few things I learned about my 4 1/2 yr old niece Lucy while we were playing 20 questions.......
#1 Her favorite colors are pink and purple, but if she had to pick just one, it'd be orange. #2 her favorite number is 6 1/2, because it sounds neat. and #3 Her favorite dessert is Apple Pie......even though she's never had it before. :D cute girl!!
and this pic was supposed to be in the last post. As we were gettin ready to leave the rodeo, Obie saw a girl giving out autographs..... she was Miss princess Iron County or somethin like that....... and he wanted one, so he went down and got one. He was tellin me after that he was going to tell all his friends and make fun of them because they didn't have one...... :) good ol Obie!! he sure is fun to have around!! He's been telling me that we're going to have a carwash at wal-mart this saturday and we could probably each make about $30, and he's going to do the rinsing with his supersoaker!

I WON! I WON!

There was a rodeo here in Cedar last Fri-Sat and me and Thursday night me and Robert talked about going to it, but decided not to because it started at 8pm and Brecklyns normal bedtime is 7, and admission was $10 per person..... which we didn't want to pay if we weren't going to get to see the whole thing. So Friday morning i get in the van to go to work and they are doing a trivia to win a ticket to the rodeo for a family of 6. I usually call for the contests on my 45 min. drive to work and never get through, but i did this time and the question was something like what do you get when you mix copper and zinc and they gave me four choices...... I really had no idea and had to think really fast, but i guessed right (Brass) and won the ticket! We invited Austin and Eleanor over for dinner and to the rodeo. I meant to get a pic of me and El with our baby bellies, but you know me and my slacking with the camera. We ended up leaving halfway through the rodeo, Brecklyn thought all the horses were fun for a little while, but after a while she just had more fun teasing all the people around us so we decided to go. Funny thing..... I think the last thing I won was tickets to a rodeo in St. George from the local tv station when I lived down that way.

Home again home again!!

Backwards post, start from the bottom and read up! (I didn't want to take the time to fix it.)

The only picture I got from the races..... quite the photographer I am I know! My mom stayed and played with Brecklyn so we could run off to the races.

My mom had so much fun with Brecklyn while we were there, here they are throwing rocks in the creek. Me and Robert decided to go for a walk, so we walked up the road till they picked us up on their way out...... we kept walking and walking, and started to wonder if I had made it clear that we weren't going to meet them back where we picnicked...... luckily they finally came, and we got a good walk in, they had just been having too much fun with Brecklyn.

Brecklyn and her grapes..... SHE LOVES THEM..... and thank goodness because they saved the day quite a few times during the long trip! Her mood instantly changes when you mention grapes.
We had lunch in the mountains with my grandparents one day. We went up to a place called Bighorn Corrals, where we used to go ALLL the time for picnics, but we forgot to reserve our spot and someone else was there so we went up the road a little.

Just hangin out...... alot of people, everywhere we go tell me she looks just like me. I think it's usually hard to see how you yourself looks like someone else, but I can actually see it in this picture.

Say cheese!!!

Kali...... being bored...... :)
My grandpa and Brecklyn went out to see the horses..... i had to sneak to get a few pictures...... aren't they sweet!!

We were lucky enough to make it to Colorado for a few days a couple weeks ago. We decided we better go earlier than celebration so it's not gettin to close to due day (which is coming RIGHT up!!) It is SUCH a long drive..... but definately worth it!! My cousin Kali came with us too, and we were glad she could! Once again I didn't get very many pictures, I definately need to start carrying the camera in my pocket or something..... I always plan to take alot, and then just don't for some reason. My dad always likes to steal away Robert to do this or that, and thats okay, because Robert really enjoys spending time with him and my brother(s). This time they spent their time working on race cars, mostly replacing the engine in Ren's for the big races he'd worked hard putting together with his friends. He ended up doing really well as always, that boy eats sleeps and drinks racing.

Memorial Weekend

Saturday morning we started off early...... since Brecklyn was awake at 6:30 am, and we had planned on going to St. George, we just rolled outta bed, stopped by the grocery store for donuts, and took off. We did a little shopping, then went to the clubhouse by Julie's house and went for a little swim! Brecklyn had so much fun! We really need to take her swimming more often! Then Sunday we layed around home for the morning, watered plants and such, went to church...... then had a picnic at the park with Roberts family.

Brecklyn was the little snack girl during the baseball game. When someone would miss a pitch she would make a little sound effect like they really hit it (pkewww!!)

Saturday morning we worked on our yard, we're still getting it ready for sod...... can't wait till we have grass at our house! Then we had lunch with Natalie and Phillip at Costa Vida, then headed south to Toquerville falls. This is where Robert had planned to ask me to marry him. He knew i love waterfalls, but it's a LONG and VERY ROUGH road to get here...... and it had been a while since he'd been there so he wasn't sure if we were going the right way that night, so we pulled off to the side of the road and cooked our Hobo dinners there. It was still a very gorgeous view. And it was snowing just a tiny bit........ so romantic!! It was PERFECT!! So this is pics of where it all started.........
...........And these are pics where he had planned on asking me......
Brecklyn had so much fun in the water! Here's when she fell, it kinda caught her offgaurd, but then she just started splashin away!

It was fun to go back up there, but it's so rough, I'm not sure we'll go back anytime soon without 4 wheelers...... or maybe horses :)

Random bits of what we've been up to this spring.....

I think this is the longest break inbetween posts that i've had since starting this blog. I'm not sure why..... maybe because life just seems to get busier and busier. Robert has been working his regular job, plus a little time at wingers and the ice plant. He just quit Wingers tho so at least he should have his weekend nights back now. The other two jobs are only going to get busier for the summer. But they say busy is good, and we are glad that he has work. I'm still working 2 days a week at the vet clinic in St. George. I am really liking it, I just miss my little princess when I'm gone. But.... I only have 10 1/2 weeks till Baby Sherbert's due day, which doesn't seem like long at all! Seems like everyone elses pregnancies go by SOOOO SLOW, but mine go by so fast! I have been feeling really good. This little girl is WAYY more active than Brecklyn was, it will be interesting to see the difference in their personalities. I just cannot wait to meet her and see what she looks like! We don't have names picked yet, hopefully we'll come up with a few to choose from soon! Anyway i just pulled these pics off my camera... there's alot..... and there is alot of this and alot of that! enjoy!

We've been teaching Brecklyn how to take care of her baby. They say it helps for when a new baby comes along. I think I am going to have QUITE a bit of help with this little one!...... it's so cute to see her burp the baby, and check her to see if she's stinky, and give her a bottle and rock her. Here she is checking on her in the baby swing.

Gettin ready for bed.

A few weekends ago we went down to St. George to watch some of the Ford Ironman Triathlon, and had lunch with Julie. I tried some sunglasses on her at the store just for fun, i didn't think she'd like them, but she did.... and so we got her some!

She went right to sleep when we got in to go home....... it's tiresome watching those amazing athletes!!
She helps me quite a bit watering our new trees and the flowers i got for Mother's Day..... I can't seem to keep one pair of her shoes clean.

One Saturday morning we walked up the canyon trail that takes you to some manmade falls..... I LOVE LOVE waterfalls!!

Brecklyn loves wearing Robert's keychains around the house and especially his "Mr. Irresistable" medal. It's pretty cute!

She loves to come with me to feed nickel......

and especially loves playing in her water..... even if its dirty.....

We read quite a few books every day.......

........ and she can now read the books upside down, with her eyes closed!! haha
