Lunch at La Manga

My parents, Brecklyn and I went for a picnic to La Manga/Elk Creek Campground one of the days I was in Colorado. It was such a nice day, and of course Brecklyn loved bein outdoors! And I loved spending time with my mom and dad and watchin them play with Brecklyn!! They really are the best!!

Alfalfa thought it was her duty to reroute the river while we were there....she'd go get the biggest rock she could barely manage and get it out of the river then go right back for another.....she had a good pile of them before we left!

Brecklyn LOVES horses! and while we were in Colorado she got to ride a few. She handled this little pony pretty well so we let her get on some bigger ones.She bobbled along on Midnight for a little ride.Then she got to sit on Souvenir....look how happy she is up there!

Then she got to go for a ride with Grammy on Souvenir.....sad to say this was Souvenir's last ride. No...she's not dead.... She's just retiring. She's given many good rides over the years tho!I think she's gettin it all figured out!

Fab Four then and Now!

This is about the earliest picture I could find of the four of us.....it was in 1997, last day of 8th grade..... am I that old? That's 12 years ago!

This one, I believe, was the summer after our Senior year, 2001. 8 years ago!

And this one was a month ago at Georgette's reception.
