Brecklyn Jane Fobert.....the new love of our life is here!! She was born 2/18/09 @ 7:55 pm weighed 6 lb 5 oz and was 19.5 inches long! We were originally scheduled to be induced early Tuesday, but decided to hold off and give her more of a chance to come on her own....so we rescheduled for early Thursday, still a little hesitant but come Tuesday night we had decided to go ahead with the inducement for Thursday...... thats all the incentive this little gal needed and she decided to start coming the next morning just as we got up! As a few of you know I had decided to go natural with the hypnobirthing method..... Everything started out great. I was a 4 the first time they checked me, I took a couple baths in the huge jetted tub, used the birthing ball......but after hours of the contractions coming every three minutes and getting more intense, I lost my energy and stamina and could not relax through the contractions. Robert was a great support through it all, but I was ready for an epidural. Just after I had decided that, my water broke, I was at a 7 and the anesthesiologist was called in! It was HEAVENLY!! After that my energy came back, and the nurses and Robert were glad to see a smile on my face again. And she was in our arms in a few hours!! What an AMAZING experience!! BIG THANKS to Grandma and Grandpa Shawcroft for comin out, and for my mom for stayin to help with everything for a few days, and to Robert for being the most amazing husband and dad that he is!! I couldn't ask for better!! Heavenly father has blessed me in so many ways I'm sure i don't even realize!! Here's a few more pictures of our princess......they really don't do her beauty justice....so if you want to see how cute she really is you better get over here!!

OH my gosh, Sher. Look at the hair on that girl. SHe is adorable! We can't wait to see her. We are so happy for you guys. HOw fun!
