HAPPY BIRTHDAY U*S*A*!!!!!!

We had a really enjoyable Independance Day weekend...... and it was much needed after all 3 of us having some flu bug! Brecklyn's still recooperating but doing much better! I guess we're pretty lucky that this is really the first time she's been sick, except for little colds. Saturday we went tubing down the Virgin River in Springdale. Julie was in town so we invited her and Dari to come with us! I had called the tube rental place earlier that week, and asked the prices and how the river was, and nothing was mentioned about RESERVING a spot...... and i didn't think to ask since I had gone once a few years before and didn't have to reserve one..... anyway we got up there and they didn't have any openings for the day, but suggested going and buying tubes...... so we did, and for only $4 more we now have our own tubes! It was so much fun, and pretty relaxing too! We couldn't decide whether to take Brecklyn with us, i think she would have had fun, but it is kind of a long ride, so she stayed and played with Grandma Nef and their new pool........ i don't think she even missed us. I worked Monday but Robert had it off so he played with Brecklyn all day. They went to the parade in the morning. Then last night we went and watched the Enoch fireworks with some of Roberts family. I was a little worried Brecklyn would be scared so we watched a few on youtube.com beforehand, so she kinda had an idea what fireworks were all about. She ended up really liking them!
