Me and Robert celebrated our 2 year Anniversary on Monday. As far as celebrating we didn't do much because we both worked and got off later than expected, so we just went and ate at Costa Vida as a little family and hung out at home after. I know that 99.9% of the time I blog about Brecklyn..... can you blame me tho?? I can't ever get enough of that girl! But i also can't ever get enough of Robert and since I know that some that read this blog know Robert better than me, and some know me better than Robert I thought I'd tell ya a bit more about each of us, and us as a pair! I was born July 21 and Robert was born exactly 6 weeks later on September 1st. I grew up on a farm in a small town in southern Colorado. Robert grew up mostly in Cedar City, but lived in Salt Lake some too. I have 2 brothers (Jeremiah and Ren) and a sister (Julie). Robert has 2 brothers (Steve and Scott) three half sisters (Brenda, Charity, and Viki) 1 half brother (Obie), and quite a few stepsisters and brothers. All four of my grandparents are still living which I count as a GREAT GREAT BLESSING!!. Robert's dad's parents live in Salt Lake also and his mom's dad just passed away last year. Even though I'm older than Robert he graduated Canyon View High School in 2000 and i graduated Centauri High School in 2001. And no I wasn't held back....I was just one of the older ones in my class and Robert was one of the younger ones in his. We both have an Associates of Applied Science, mine's in Veterinary Technology, Roberts is in Commercial Refrigeration HVAC. I got my degree in Twin Falls, ID at CSI and Robert got his at UVSC in Orem, UT. Robert served a mission in Ohio from 2001 to 2003. We're both pretty laid back, i guess that's why we get along so well, although we do have a hard time making decisions sometimes. Robert LOVES basketball, and i love to watch him play. A few random/weird things about us... he likes the smell of new tires (yuck) new pavement (ick) and even kinda likes the smell of skunks (ugh!) I on the other hand kinda like the smell of horse crap and baby spitup. We met on a blind date 11/17/07 that was set up by his step sis Amy whom I had just barely met. Neither of us were big fans of blind dates, but I had just moved back to Utah from Colorado and was wanting to make some friends and Robert tried thinking of any excuse he could to get out of coming.... but thank HEAVEN he still came. We played 3 legged soccer, which WASN"T easy me being a whole 5'4" and Robert 6'4"..... we didn't match up very well that way. I along with all the other girls on the date had pretty big bruises on our legs the next day. Then we went to someones house, had ice cream and watched Transformers. The first things i noticed about him was #1 how tall he was #2 how incredibly handsome he was and #3 how good i felt being around him.
I wouldn't say it was love at first sight, but we both had fun and were open for a 2nd date..... which ended up being a week later, and no lie after that it was pretty well every night we went out minus maybe 5 nights here and there till we got married! We knew after probably 2-3 weeks we were gonna get married and he proposed to me 1/21/08 after taking me up on a mountain and cooking hobo dinners over a campfire We were looking for some waterfalls but couldn't find them. It was rather romantic even without the falls:). We were married for Time and ALL Eternity in the St. George, UT temple on 4/12/08. We are loving life as parents and are so excited to meet this other little gal in 4 months! I am so lucky to have Robert in my life and thank my Heavenly Father for all the little miracles that happened for this to work out! I know He was and is watching over me and I can't wait for the rest of eternity with my BEST FRIEND!! He really is the best for me!

Congratulations Robert and Sheri on two years! It really doesn't seem like you have been married for that long, I remember when you were barely starting to date and Robert brought you to a city league basketball game. Time flies! congrats again!
